LY3UM KO24 13 and 23 cm EME

Returned home to Lithuania after a trip to OH0 and YL. My next trip to southern Europe is planned for September 10–20. I’ll be in Lithuania for a couple of weeks, so if anyone needs LY, please let me know.

On 13 cm (2320), the band is completely clogged by 4G LTE here, but I can operate on 2304 and 2400, where the spectrum is clear. Lunar declination is low, and my QTH only has coverage to the east and west, but once the elevation is above 10–15 degrees, I can work.

The morning is cold and rainy, but the antenna seems to be working very well.

Closer in, the MS diagram started to catch a large tree and a hedge, but it still works quite well — managed a QSO with KB2SA, who is using a dish only 1 m in diameter.

On 2320 there is terrible QRM from 4G LTE networks — reception is absolutely impossible. On 2304 everything is clear. Tomorrow afternoon I plan to work a bit on 13 cm, and if anyone still needs it, I can switch to 23 cm on request.
